How to reach us and storage information
Meeting point details depend on the tour you’ve booked:
-
For tours starting in Amalfi: meet in the town center at Darsena pier, right in front of Hotel Residence (Piazza Flavio Gioia). This is the small pier used by private boats—not the one for ferries.
-
For tours starting in Sorrento: meet in front of Ruccio Restaurant, located at the tourist port (Marina Piccola).
In both cases, our crew will be there 20 minutes before departure, holding an orange umbrella so you can spot us easily!

How to reach Amalfi from Amalfi Coast towns, Sorrento and Salerno
-
On foot: You can easily reach Amalfi through a short walk or taking some (hundreds!) steps down to town if you're staying in a nearby village, such us Atrani, Pontone, Pogerola, Ravello or Scala.
-
By ferry (from Positano, Salerno, Cetara, Maiori, Minori only): If you're staying in one of these towns you can reach Amalfi by public ferry. This will drop you off at Pennello pier; from there just walk to Darsena pier, it takes two minutes.
Please check that the ferry service is running on the official ferry company website travelmar.it/en/hours
Please note: ferries might not run in case of bad weather.
-
By bus: Amalfi is the Amalfi Coast bus terminal, so you can get in town from pretty much any place of the Coast by direct bus, from Sorrento to Salerno. Darsena pier is right in front of the bus terminal.
Tickets CANNOT be bought on board, you need to buy them before to get on the bus.
Bus schedules can be checked on sitasudtrasporti.it/orari (select Campania).
-
By car (not recommended due to the very few parking spots available): If you are coming by car you should consider to arrive at least a hour early in order to be sure to find parking (there are very few spots available in town). You will find two parking lots right in the center of Amalfi, but we recommend LUNA ROSSA parking, which is about 5 minutes on foot far from the meeting point and it has more available spots.
-
By private boat (on request only - additional costs): Private boat transfers available, also directly from accommodations with private pier.
How to reach Amalfi from Naples, Rome and anywhere else
-
If you're coming from farther away you should get to Salerno first by bus or by train (train only, if you're coming from Rome), and once there get to Amalfi by ferry or by bus following the instructions above.
Bus schedules: sitasudtrasporti.it/orari (select Campania)
Train schedules: trenitalia.com/en.html
Tickets CANNOT be bought on board, you need to buy them before to get on the bus or train.
Tours Starting in Sorrento: Parking information
-
We strongly recommend not coming by car due to limited parking in town. The best way to reach Sorrento is by public ferry or bus.
However, if you must drive, we suggest arriving at least an hour early to secure a parking spot. There is a small parking area near the port in Marina Piccola, but due to its very limited capacity, we recommend parking at ACHILLE LAURO on Via Correale, about a 15-minute walk from the tourist port of Sorrento.
Storage information
Small backpacks and purses can be safely stored below deck.
Large backpacks or carry-on luggage are NOT allowed on board.
